The presentation also provides an overview of the Voluntary Fiduciary Correction Program (VFCP). The main topics discussed include: \n• Fiduciary Education \n• How to avoid common problems \n• Voluntary correction programs \n• EBSA’s guidance regarding COVID-19 \n  \nMichael Scott Campbell\nSenior Benefits Advisor\nEmployee Benefits Security Administration\nUS Department of Labor\nCincinnati Regional Office\n\nBIO: \n\nMichael Scott Campbell is a Senior Benefits Advisor for the Employee Benefits Security Administration\, Cincinnati Regional Office of the U. S. Department of Labor\, which covers the States of Ohio\, Kentucky\, Michigan and Southern Indiana. \nPrior to assuming this position in November of 2018\, Mr. Campbell was the Senior Advisor for Criminal Investigations for five years\, a Supervisory Investigator for three and a half years\, a Supervisory Benefits Advisor for five years and an Auditor in the Cincinnati Regional Office for the seventeen years. As such\, Mr. Campbell was responsible for enforcement and compliance activities pursuant to ERISA\, which included conducting both civil and criminal investigations. Mr. Campbell started with EBSA in 1987. \nMr. Campbell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Kentucky.
