A panel of Frost Brown Todd practitioners will discuss cybersecurity risks faced by plan sponsors and fiduciaries in connection with their retirement plans and the fiduciary duty to mitigate those risks. Coats\nSenior Policy Advisor\nHall Render\, Killian\, Heath & Lyman\, P.C.\n\nBIO: \n\n\n\nAndrew Coats has over two decades of experience in Washington DC.  During this time\, Andrew has worked on Capital Hill\, the Bush Administration and in the private sector representing clients in the health care space.  Andrew has been working with Hall Render since 2017 where he has led lobbying efforts for the Alliance for Quality Medical Device Servicing\, SSM Heath\, the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health and for a number of other health providers.  In 2018\, Andrew helped write and advocate for the State Offices of Rural Health Reauthorization Act of 2018\, which as signed into law as a stand-alone bill.  Since joining Hall Render\, Andrew has specialized in working with HHS\, CMS\, FDA\, the White House and Republicans in the House and Senate.\n\nFrom 2010-2016\, Andrew worked with Liberty Partners Group\, lobbying clients on health care related matters and other issues.  Andrew was the lead Republican lobbyist for Sandy Hook Promise\, where he advocated for a comprehensive mental health reform bill which was signed into law in 2016.  Sandy Hook led a coalition of mental health and gun safety organizations that significantly contributed to Congress passing the reform package.  Andrew also represented the Partnership for Quality Home Healthcare\, a coalition of the leading home health care providers.\n\nDuring his time on the Hill\, Andrew was a health Legislative Assistant for an Indiana member of Congress.  Andrew began his career in the Bush Administration as a a Congressional Liaison under Elaine Chao in the U.S. Department of Labor.\n\nAndrew has a law degree from Indiana University and an undergraduate degree from James Madison University.  In his free time Andrew enjoys golf\, is an AAU basketball coach\, and spending time with his wife and three children.\n\n\n\n\nAbigail L. DESCRIPTION:“Wellness Incentive Trends”\n  \nPresented by:\nDr. Andrei Javier\nMercer\nTotal Health Management Consultant\nBIO \nDr. Andrei Javier serves as a Senior Consultant Clinical Services and Total Health Management Consultant at Mercer.  In this role\, Dr. Javier supports clients as they navigate healthcare issues and as a clinical and planning and strategy resource\, working across the industries and clients that Mercer serves.  Andrei’s interests include increasing access to health care\, chronic disease management\, health policy analysis\, and developing innovative market solutions to help organizations improve and manage the health of their employees. \nPrior to joining Mercer\, Andrei conducted and managed clinical research while service as a post-doctoral research fellow in the Nephrology Division of Vanderbilt Medical Center.  Her work centered on creating risk prediction models\, clinical interventions\, and improving quality of care for chronic kidney disease\,  She has also performed clinical care optimizing work in cardiothoracic surgery at Yale University School of Medicine.  Her research has been published in peer reviewed journals including the New England Journal of Medicine\, the Journal for the American Society of Nephrology and the World Journal of Cardiovascular Surgery.  Andrei has also worked as a health policy analyst and advisor for a boutique consulting firm\, working with the Senate Finance Committee and the California State Legislature to develop and analyze innovative solutions to heath system problems.  She worked with clients on Medicaid and COBRA financing as well as international health systems benefits and alternative physician incentive models. \nAndrei earned her undergraduate degree in behavioral neuroscience from Yale University and an M.D. from Meharry Medical College.  She has studied health policy at the University off Copenhagen and was a visiting research fellow at the University of Bologna.  She was awarded the 2017 Nashville Emerging Leader Award in Medicine and Health Care Services by the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce.

Ferenczy\, J.D.\, CPC\, APA\nManaging Partner                                                                          Ferenczy Benefits Law Center\nAtlanta\, GA\nBIO \nIlene Ferenczy advises clients on all types of employee benefit plans\, particularly focusing on qualified retirement plans\, benefits issues in mergers and acquisitions\, and advising third-party administrators on technical and practice issues.  Having become an attorney after more than ten years as a third-party administrator\, she brings a unique and practical approach to her advice.  She is a member of the State Bars of Georgia and California\, and holds designations as a Certified Pension Consultant from the ASPPA and Accredited Pension Administrator from NIPA.  Ms. Ferenczy is the 2007 recipient of ASPPA’s Educator of the Year Award\, and the 2017 recipient of NIPA’s Excellence in Education Award. \nIlene is a nationally known speaker on benefits issues\, and has authored more than 100 articles for publications such as the Journal of Pension Benefits\, The 401(k) Advisor\, and the ASPPA Journal (now The Plan Consultant).  Her book\, Employee Benefits in Mergers and Acquisitions\, an Aspen publication\, is now in its 17th edition.  Ms. Ferenczy is a past adjunct professor in the College of Law at Georgia State University in Atlanta\, Georgia\, and on the Employee Benefits Advisory Board of the John Marshall Law Center for Tax Law and Employee Benefits in Chicago\, Illinois.
