Coats\nSenior Policy Advisor\nHall Render\, Killian\, Heath & Lyman\, P.C.\n\nBIO: \n\n\n\nAndrew Coats has over two decades of experience in Washington DC.  During this time\, Andrew has worked on Capital Hill\, the Bush Administration and in the private sector representing clients in the health care space.  Andrew has been working with Hall Render since 2017 where he has led lobbying efforts for the Alliance for Quality Medical Device Servicing\, SSM Heath\, the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health and for a number of other health providers.  In 2018\, Andrew helped write and advocate for the State Offices of Rural Health Reauthorization Act of 2018\, which as signed into law as a stand-alone bill.  Since joining Hall Render\, Andrew has specialized in working with HHS\, CMS\, FDA\, the White House and Republicans in the House and Senate.\n\nFrom 2010-2016\, Andrew worked with Liberty Partners Group\, lobbying clients on health care related matters and other issues.  Andrew was the lead Republican lobbyist for Sandy Hook Promise\, where he advocated for a comprehensive mental health reform bill which was signed into law in 2016.  Sandy Hook led a coalition of mental health and gun safety organizations that significantly contributed to Congress passing the reform package.  Andrew also represented the Partnership for Quality Home Healthcare\, a coalition of the leading home health care providers.\n\nDuring his time on the Hill\, Andrew was a health Legislative Assistant for an Indiana member of Congress.  Andrew began his career in the Bush Administration as a a Congressional Liaison under Elaine Chao in the U.S. Department of Labor.\n\nAndrew has a law degree from Indiana University and an undergraduate degree from James Madison University.  In his free time Andrew enjoys golf\, is an AAU basketball coach\, and spending time with his wife and three children.\n\n\n\n\nAbigail L. Kaericher\nAttorney\nHall Render\, Killian\, Heath & Lyman\, P.C.\n\nBIO: \n\n\n\nAbby Kaericher practices in the area of health care law with a focus on government relations and antitrust.  She is active in the firm’s lobbying activities\, representing the interests of health care clients.  She developed an interest in antitrust after working with the Federal Trade Commission in the health care division.  Abby received her J.D. with a Graduate Certificate in Health Law from Saint Louis University.  Abby earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Indiana University.  She then received her Master’s degree in Biology from Purdue University.   While in law school\, Abby served as an editor for the Saint Louis University Journal of Health Law & Policy.  Additionally\, she worked as a pediatric medical assistant.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA few notes for the LEBC Virtual Zoom Meeting:\n\n\n\nPlease set-up your Zoom access prior to so ensure quick entry to meeting\nAfter you RSVP please look for ZOOM invite to log-in to the meeting\nPlease Log-In to Zoom 10 to 15 minutes prior to meeting as we intend to start at Noon\nWe will conclude our meeting around 1:00pm with a Q&A session following\nGuests are welcome but we ask you allow us to extend invitation and they register for the event\n\n\nPlease contact me with any questions she will be operating the Zoom meeting.\n \nMindy Heck\nmheck@dmlo.com
