Jim Kais brings knowledge, passion, and over two decades of retirement services experience to his role as senior vice president and managing director for Transamerica Retirement Solutions. Since joining Transamerica in 2006, he has led successful sales, product, and strategy efforts that focus on defined benefits, multiple employer plans (MEPs), third-party administrator (TPA)/3(16) distributions, not-for-profits, the Retirement Plan Exchange®, Taft-Hartley, Davis-Bacon/Prevailing Wage, prospect development, and affinity markets. In addition to retirement services, Jim possesses exceptional knowledge of the professional employer organization (PEO) business and operating models. He has testified in front of the Senate HELP committee, Senate Finance Committee and House Labor committee on coverage, pooled employer plans, state run plans and the fiduciary rule.
