Speaker Presentation John L. Utz of Utz, Miller & Eickman, LLC will present Defined Contribution Plan Practitioner and Sponsor Issues. Mr. Utz focuses exclusively on employee benefits law, including matters affecting pension, profit sharing, ESOP, 401(k), executive compensation, and health and welfare programs. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America and is a Fellow in the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel. Mr. Utz is also active in the American Bar Association, currently serving as co-chair of the Pension Legislation Subcommittee of the Section of Taxation and having chaired several other ABA subcommittees on employee benefits issues. In addition, Mr. Utz serves on the Senior Editorial Board for annual supplements to the treatise Employee Benefits Law (published by the Bureau of National Affairs) and is a member of the board of editors for the Journal of Pension Planning & Compliance and the Journal of Deferred Compensation. Mr. Utz holds a law degree (magna cum laude), as well as a master's degree (M.S.) in mathematics, from the University of Illinois. Lunch Menu Executive Lunch Buffet - Soup du jour, sliced roasted beef, genoa salami, grilled breast of chicken, smoked ham and turkey, sliced cheddar, swiss, provolone and pepper jack cheeses. Selection of artisan breads. Salad of mixed greens, tomatoes, carrots and cucumbers with choice of balsamic vinaigrette or ranch dressing.
